Choose Gripper bar width 

Choose a gripper bar width less than the width of your sign  & wide enough to trap several down bars.

Choose a Bolt length

Measure the rail, gate or fence thickness ie 50mm then add 50mm so that the bolt protrudes enough to attach the nut & washer.
